What is the Oral and Overall Health on having Dentures?

Oral disease does not have to caused by aging or dentures . Oral disease can be experienced
by people of all ages. Age can be more prevalent to oral disease. Visiting your dentist regularly will help with preventing oral disease. It doesn't
matter if you have fake, no or real teeth, the dentist still will see you.

According to the Oral Health in America; the elderly, the poor children, racial minority and the ethnic minority groups has the higher risk of
developing oral diseases ("silent epidemic".)

Also, according to the Oral Health in America, people that develops an oral disease and has health issues, they are more of a risk of putting there
health in more of a jeopardy.

The most serious oral disease is oral cancer. Signs of oral cancer is: having either red or white bumps or sores that does not heal in one (1) to two
(2) weeks. The bumps or sores can be either painful or non painful. Also, another sign is if your lymph nodes in the neck are swollen. Also, if it is
difficult to speak or to swallow. Some risks of getting oral cancer is using tobacco, drink alcohol often, exposed to the sun and even with age.

Altered taste, bad breath, ill fitting old dentures discomfort, and
swelling are some signs of having an oral disease. These signs can result to your gums changing, the systemic disease increase, the immune system is
being reduced. Having the systemic disease increase can be a bleeding disorder, heart problems, diabetes, some cardiovascular conditions, artificial
joints and strokes. You can also have greater use of using prescriptions and over the counter medications.
